Pornopedia

Hi Till, One thing I have been thinking on, the name, "Pornopedia - Den sexiga encyklopedin". What do you think to change it to "Pornopedia - Den erotiska encyklopedin"? I think it would be more common with the German version, and also it sounds better in Swedish. Its just a proposal :) //Sipzz 21 december 2011 kl. 18.32 (CET)

Hi Sipzz, thanks for that suggestion. I got to think about it. The German slogan differs from the English version, because "geile Enzyklopädie" is a homage to "freie Enzyklopädie". "geile" sounds more like "freie" than "sexy", but "sexy" sounds more like "free" than "horny" or whatever. "geile" and "sexy" both are ambiguous words, because it could either mean something erotic and also something cool (like a sexy technology). I think "erotiska" is more far away from "fria" than "sexiga", because it's just a longer word. Is there, by any chance, another erotic (and maybe ambiguous) word in Swedish that sounds a little like "fria"? But if "erotiska" is more common and cooler in Swedish, we have to take that (I just hope it fits size-wise, because the "sexiga" logo is already a little wider than the "sexy" and "geile" logos). Hi okay as I suspected, that it was a meaning behind the word :) But then I think "sexiga" is better, because cant find any other Swedish erotic word that sounds like "fria". But I will have it in my mind during the coming weekends.

Problems

Hi Sipzz, cool idea! I just created a similar, less complex template, than the Wikipedia Sex-stub, but for the moment it just works with opening the link in a new window. You can find it here. I removed the "sexually-related" because all Pornopedia articles are sexually related, but feel free to rename/move the template to whatever you think is suitable (maybe there is a Swedish word for stub too). Hi Till, many thanks for your help, the template looks nice, maybe some small fix of the text. In Swedish we use the word "Stub", so alles ok :) Maybe you also can help me to create this one too? More problems

Hi Till, Hope you had a good and nice Christmas weekend :) I have a problem, as you probably have noticed. The links in the templates I add to new articles of actors. The problems is that I collecting information from the German version, and the templates there is not similar to the English version, thats why I have the problem to add the correct links. Hi Sipzz, thanks, I had a good Christmas weekend, hope you too. The only problem was, that I almost couldn't speak because of bronchitis, but it was great to see my family. Yeah, I noticed the problem with the templates, but don't worry, I'll just fix them. The best thing in the future would be if I'll translate everything from German to English and you translate from the English version because the templates are almost the same. Currently I don't have the time to translate everything to English, but I will have much more time for Pornopedia starting January 16 (I'm gonna move to Hamburg again). Hi Till, My Christmas have just been nice and relaxed. Had my girlfriend here during the Christmas Eve and then was on a party on the Christmas day. But until you are back in Hamburg, and we have fixed the problem with the links, you have to live to correcting my links :) Was in Hamburg last year, but in work...so didn't had any time or chance to visit your famous district ;) But was at a restaurant called Fisch Markt at the canal for lunch, pretty nice. Hi Sipzz, I'm sorry about the server outages. Unfortunately, we experience these problems from time to time. I think it has something to do with APC memory caching. I'm working on it and hopefully it will be fixed soon. It was especially bad that I wasn't at home the other day, so I couldn't solve the problem earlier :| Cool that you have been to Hamburg! I know the Fischmarkt near the port, but I don't know a restaurant named like that (wow, you know Hamburg better than me :). Great that you created the studio template! I have one translation question regarding movies though: What is the Swedish word for "released" (like "Category:Released December 31" or "Kategorie:Erschienen 31. Dezember" and "Category:Released 2011" or "Kategorie:Erschienen 2011")? Templates

Hi Till, I am online and up and running again :) Could you help me to create some new templates with the same name as {{Xjuggler}}, {{Xjuggler Darsteller 2}}, {{Orgazmik Darsteller}}, {{Orgazmik Darsteller 2}}, {{Bluvista Darsteller}}, {{Bluvista Darsteller 2}}, . This so it is easier to create new (copy) articles with the Germans version as reference. Like it is now its quite tricky to get it right with the links. Hi Sipzz, welcome back! :) Great to have you here again! I don't know, but the Xjuggler templates are pretty useless outside of Germany, because only people living in Germany can use the site (they only deliver to German addresses, as far as I remember). We use Xjuggler at the German site, because they have pretty attractive prices and everyone can sell DVD's there, so they offer many movies. I don't know if there is a similar site in Sweden which does not have uncensored hardcore pictures visible to unregistered users. The Xjuggler templates are replaced by the Orgazmik templates outside the German version and Bluvista and Praline/Coupé templates are replaced by AEBN templates. The {{Orgazmik aktör}} template works pretty easy, because normally you don't have to fill in a value. Only if the actor's name varies from the article name, you can do something like {{Orgazmik aktör|Real+Name}}. The "+" is needed to replace a space. The AEBN templates require a value which can be found in the AEBN URL. For actors, there is a Star ID at AEBN, like "starId=1234567" and that "1234567" goes into {{AEBN aktör|1234567}}, but I think the easiest way for you is to just delete the Xjuggler, Praline/Coupé and Bluvista templates from the articles and just leave it blank.
