Welcome

Welcome, I mean välkommen (man, I need to learn Swedish now :). I'm glad your account works. Cheers, --Till Kraemer 4 december 2011 kl. 22.53 (CET)

Tack så mycket :) Yepp, thats true that you have to get to lean Swedish, due to the reason that this is the Swedish Pornopedia ;-)) But you can always write me in English no problems, German works well too. But thanks for the help with my account, now will I start to figure out how to start this version in a good way. And also the big issue, were to start? :-) But I will copy templates from Wikipedia (if ok?) and from the English Pornopedia. My idea is also to copy/translate articles from the English version of Pornopedia. Thanks for your help and good luck with your Swedish ;-) //Sipzz 4 december 2011 kl. 22.59 (CET)
Thanks, I mean, tack så mycket! :) ...and yeah, it would be supercool if you can translate some templates. I think the most important ones are de:Vorlage:Infobox Person (en:Template:Infobox person), de:Vorlage:Tabelle Filmografie (en:Template:Table filmography), de:Vorlage:Infobox Film (en:Template:Infobox film) and de:Vorlage:Infobox Label (en:Template:Infobox studio). For translation of an article I use wReplace (this doesn't work for complete sentences, but for the headlines, infoboxes, categories and so on. I'm gonna install the rest of the extensions now (video and a few other). Oh, and is the word "sexy" even used in Swedish or is "Den sexiga encyklopedin" much better? Cheers, --Till Kraemer 4 december 2011 kl. 23.14 (CET)
I will give it a try to translate the templates you are linking to. Maybe its better to have them ready first, before adding articles. Sexy is not used in Swedish, more then a slang word. Better with "Den sexiga encyklopedin". Will start my work on Tuesday, then I will have some time. It will be funny and interesting to be the first one here. Have been on Wikipedia since 2006, but at that time Wikipedia was quite well build. Thanks for all your help, good night :-) //Sipzz 4 december 2011 kl. 23.42 (CET)
Yeah, it's funny to start something almost from scratch. Thanks a lot for your help. I will change the slogan to "Den sexiga encyklopedin" first thing in the morning. God natt! :) --Till Kraemer 4 december 2011 kl. 23.48 (CET)
No problems, thanks for your help. Guten Nacht :-) //Sipzz 4 december 2011 kl. 23.53 (CET)
Hi again, sorry for not starting up the work with the Swedish version, but will do so very soon. Have not forgotten this project. How ever, I was thinking on one issue. Is it okay to copy and translate text from the English version? For an example the article "help" And also, how can we do "commercial" about this site, so more can start to contribute to the Swedish version? How have you done in Germany, besides the news article at Bild.de? //Sipzz 15 december 2011 kl. 22.27 (CET)
Hi Sipzz, don't worry, there are so many days, when even I don't have time to work on Pornopedia. It is absolutely okay to translate from any of the other Pornopedia language-wikis, because at the end it is just one big project. Regarding promotion: You can find the (almost complete) press coverage of Pornopedia here. I write a Pornopedia article for Coupé magazine every month and in 2012 I will start to make interviews with porn actors for the Pornopedia channel on YouTube. I think that will be good PR for Pornopedia. It would be super-cool if you can translate the English or German Pornopedia article on Wikipedia to Swedish, if you like, because that would be good promotion too. Thanks a lot for all your help! Cheers, --Till Kraemer 17 december 2011 kl. 16.16 (CET)
Thanks for your answer. Think I will have some time during the Christmas and New Years weekend to create some articles, with help from the English and German versions. Regarding an article about Pornopedia at Swedish Wikipedia, I will create one during the week. Thank you too for your help :) //Sipzz 19 december 2011 kl. 00.14 (CET)
That would be cool! And I think a Wikipedia article will probably attract other people to join the project. If they discuss the deletion of an article about an unknown actress, they often mention Pornopedia on the German Wikipedia (like "This is not Pornopedia" :). Thanks and cheers, --Till Kraemer 19 december 2011 kl. 13.06 (CET)
Check this out :) //Sipzz 20 december 2011 kl. 23.09 (CET)
Damn, I totally missed this, sorry! Maybe I overlooked it because I'm sick right now (I got the flu, so my brain, well, doesn't work that good :) Thank you so much for that cool article! Cheers, --Till Kraemer 21 december 2011 kl. 18.45 (CET)

Kommatecken

Hi Sipzz, do you write a födelsedatum with a kommatecken or without? :) Is it "18 augusti, 1977" or "18 augusti 1977"? On Wikipedia they don't seem to use a kommatecken. Thanks and cheers, --Till Kraemer 18 december 2011 kl. 13.31 (CET)

Hi Till, no in Sweden we are writing for an example (den) 19 december 2011. The word "den" is like the English word "the". How ever, the word "den" is not mentioned to be written, its something you just are saying. You can also mention the date like 2011-12-19, or 19/12-2011, those are the most common ways to express the date in Sweden. Month and days are also written with a small letter, like monday/december, so not like in English there you are writing Monday/December.
The opening of the article with Robert De Niro is very good written. How ever, be careful if you translate from German to Swedish. For an example, for some years ago I had a German girlfriend, and in the beginning when I was trying to find the right word I used Google, and it became wrong :) This because the German and the Swedish grammatic is not so similar as like Swedish and the English are. I say like you says, thanks and cheers :) //Sipzz 19 december 2011 kl. 00.03 (CET)
Hi Sipzz, thanks for all the information! Yeah, I guess I really have to be careful with the translation. I notice the same thing when translating other languages to German via Google translate, it sometimes makes no sense at all :) And you do write "person" in Sweden, right? So I'm thinking about moving "Mall:Infobox_Person" to "Mall:Infobox_person". Thanks and cheers, --Till Kraemer 19 december 2011 kl. 13.00 (CET)
Hi Till. No problem, just interesting and funny to contribute to a new Wiki-project :) Yes, in this case we are writing it like "Mall:Infobox_person". Generally no big letters in sentence, just on names and countries. //Sipzz 20 december 2011 kl. 23.09 (CET)
Hi Sipzz, ah ok, that's good to know, so I just moved the template. For me it's fun too to discover a whole new language! :) ...and thanks a million for the Swedish Wikipedia article (I just found out that you already created it yesterday :) Cheers, --Till Kraemer 21 december 2011 kl. 18.41 (CET)
So all the Swedish female actors, are they never talking Swedish with you? ;) But I agree new languages can be funny to learn. Until now its just you and me who has contribute to the article. Thought someone would react yesterday when I launched it, but it was silent. How ever, it would be nice to add a picture to the articles. But I assume that you dont want to upload your main picture to Commons. Hope you are getting better to the Christmas, not funny to be home and in bed at that time. //Sipzz 21 december 2011 kl. 19.47 (CET)
Thanks, I think it will be better till weekend and I'll go visit my family. I actually never worked with Swedish actresses :| and I don't know anyone who did, but I think there is a pretty vibrant porn scene. I can upload the logo to Commons but I'm not sure if they will like it there. I'm gonna try it out :) Cheers, --Till Kraemer 21 december 2011 kl. 20.03 (CET)
If you just give them a "ticket", then I think they will accept it. So you h have missed Puma Swede....schade ;) The Swedish girls are nice, but the German girls are different in the way that they are more open for new experience and more wild ;) //Sipzz 21 december 2011 kl. 20.20 (CET)
I just uploaded the logo to the English Wikipedia - it's allowed to upload copyrighted material there but not to the Swedish Wikipedia or to Commons :/ Yeah, I missed Puma Swede, but I think my girlfriend once saw her on the Venus in Berlin and took a picture of her. Cheers, --Till Kraemer 21 december 2011 kl. 20.51 (CET)

Tabeller

Hi Sipzz, I need your help (again :), I wanna translate a few table templates, "Table press coverage" and "Table filmography". Can I say "Tabell medverkan i press" and "Tabell filmografi"? Thanks + cheers, --Till Kraemer 22 december 2011 kl. 23.15 (CET)

Hi Till, some times the English languages has more and better words then the Swedish has. But you can use those words as a translation :) By the way, do you have templates like this one. At Swedish Wikipedia they are used if you translate an article from another version. //Sipzz 23 december 2011 kl. 00.00 (CET)
Hi Sipzz, thanks a lot! Just moved the template. Regarding your proposal: I don't know if that's really necessary, because if you click on "English" you can see if the English article is older and the text originates from there and who originally wrote it. But if you want, you can use Mall:Enpp. Thanks and cheers, --Till Kraemer 23 december 2011 kl. 13.21 (CET)
Hi Till, okay, but its feels always nice to show were the source :-) Thanks for the new "mall" //Sipzz 23 december 2011 kl. 16.39 (CET)

Kön

Hi Sipzz, on the German and English Pornopedia we started to use gender-specific category names, like en:Category:Porn actress and en:Category:Porn actor, so if someone just wants to browse through the girls he can do that :) We also use the singular version, because it's shorter, but we don't have to do that here necessarily if it's not common in Sweden. Regarding translation: I think Porrskådespelerska means "porn actress" but I don't know the Swedish plural. Thanks and cheers, --Till Kraemer 23 december 2011 kl. 13.49 (CET)

Hi Till, I have noticed that you are using gender-specific names for girls and guys. Porrskådespelerska is the Swedish female word for porn actress, thats right. Porn actor is porrskådespelare which is also the unspecific word. How ever, in Sweden we dont use any specific words to separate girls from guys, like you do in Germany. In Sweden you are a porn actor even if you are a girl or a guy. But if I understand you correct, you want to use "porrskådespelare" instead of "porrfilmskådespelare"? And if you have an idea to make it easier to browse on girls or guys, then I understand and then we go for that :) //Sipzz 23 december 2011 kl. 16.53 (CET)
Hi again, Now I have it. If you want to create separate categories for female and male actors, I think its best to name the categories like "manliga porrskådespelare" and "kvinnliga porrskådespelare" :) //Sipzz 23 december 2011 kl. 20.35 (CET)
Cool, thanks, let's do that! If you're okay with that. Cheers, --Till Kraemer 24 december 2011 kl. 10.24 (CET)

Född vs. Födda

Hi Sipzz, I noticed that the category name sometimes is Födda XYZ and sometimes Född. If I understand it correctly, Födda means births and Född means something like born. I personally love it short and clear (well, if it's not sex :) but I don't know which version is more common in Sweden. Thanks and cheers, --Till Kraemer 24 december 2011 kl. 11.31 (CET)

Hi Till, Good that you are notice things like that, categories can be tricky to be named. "Födda" is the word for a group of people, and "född" is one person. Like in Swedish Till Kraemer är född... and Till Kraemer och Nina Mercedez är födda..... So for a category I think "födda" is better then "född". But sex can be short and clear in the way that you just inform your girl what you want, and skip the foreplay ;) Gute Weihnacht und eine neu freue Jahr :) //Sipzz 25 december 2011 kl. 11.37 (CET)
Hi Sipzz, thanks for explaining Swedish to me. It's so cool: I learn something new every day :) Regarding sex: Good point, I gotta keep that in mind next time :) Cheers and gott Nytt År! :) --Till Kraemer 26 december 2011 kl. 19.31 (CET)
